The school day starts at 8:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm. From 3:30 to 4:30 our students can participate in co-curricular activities and sports depending on what after-school clubs are available. Separate registration is required for these clubs.
Prayers
Prayers bring our community together every day. It is a time when all students, teachers and staff gather to affirm our shared belief and values. Prayer rituals are performed for the appropriate age to foster a sense of connectedness.
Food Services
All primary School students are required to remain at school for lunch. Children should bring nutritious snacks and lunch with them. At Selm Academy, we also have the option to order hot lunch through our provider.
Uniforms
At Selm Academy a uniform signifies pride in membership. Wearing a uniform helps Selm Academy students to focus on their educational achievement and service to others.
Before and after school
Selm Academy offers a before and after school program to support parents whose schedules require them to drop off their children early and/or pick up late. The program provides a centre where children are assured of a positive and safe group experience. Students are supervised for homework, reading, organized games, drama, crafts and outdoor play. There is an additional fee for this program.
