Application and Enrollment Process (JK – Gr. 8)

Phase 1: Discovery & Inquiry

• Explore Selm Academy: Learn more through our website or admissions office.
• School Tours: Visit campus in person (15 min) from Mid-Sep to Mid-Dec 2026.
• Open House: Meet staff and explore our programs on Nov 28, 2026.

Phase 2: The Application

• Submit Application: Complete the online form and pay the application fee from Sep 8, 2026 to Feb 27, 2027.
• Scholarship/Subsidy: Submit financial aid applications by Jun 11, 2027.

Phase 3: Assessment & Evaluation

• Admission Exam: All new applicants write the SELM exam on Apr 17, 2027.
• Family Interview: Shortlisted families meet with administration from Apr 26 to Apr 30, 2027.

Phase 4: Placement & Enrollment

• Returning Student Re-Enrollment: Current families confirm their spot for the next year during the week of Feb 12, 2027.
• New Student Admission Decisions: Decisions are announced to new applicants on Jun 1, 2027.
• Final Enrollment: New families finalize enrollment and pay the deposit by Jul 5, 2027.
• First Tuition Payment: The first tuition installment is due for all families by Aug 20, 2027.
• First Day of School: The academic year begins on Sep 7, 2027.
